Life alignment and the 5am club. What does a successful 2022 look like to you?

Newsletter #7

Take ownership of your mornings, your days and your life with simple yet affirmative habits

  • Are you aware of how you can remain true to your values and what you define as a good life – every single day?

  • Are you aware of how you can fill yourself and your loved ones with what gives you energy and meaning and what nourishes you, so that you can make a difference and be the person you want to be in your work and your relationships – both those you have with others and the one you have with yourself?

Just 26 days into 2022, and, in my development interviews with leaders, I’m already hearing a longing for more life alignment. So many of you are looking for a deeper connection to a purpose, to one’s significant others and to oneself – a longing to fill one’s life with more than just work.

Take ownership over your mornings, your days and, consequently, over your life. Take a moment for yourself before the rest of the world awakes and fill it with energy, inspiration and focus on what is meaningful for you.

Rather than allowing the outside world to design your day, direct the focus yourself onto the things that makes life worthwhile for you. Whether that’s a country walk, a daily dip in the sea, 10 minutes’ meditation – or simply remembering to laugh sometimes, making some delicious food, spending quality bonding time with your child or whatever it is you long to value more of.

In his 5 AM Club concept (or 7 AM – that’s up to you), Robin Sharma recommends that you take an hour for yourself every morning.

3 x 20 minutes for 1. Physical exercise 2. Immersion/meditation or ‘journaling’, where you write down everything that strengthens your positive energy, your feelings of gratefulness and your creativity 3. Inspiration – read those poems you dream about or the article or textbook you want to be inspired by.

Be creative and make your own life alignment routine and turn 2022 into your year – fill it with positive energy so you can thrive and do the things you dream about.

My best wishes for a harmonic 2022.
